Cannot Enable Visual Filters

I am not able to enable visual fiters. It's grayed out. I found some forums where this was an issue back with version 44, but seems to still be a problem unless I'm missing something? I have uninstalled/reinstalled the software and everything is up to date. I have tried the "shift-click" and that doesn't do anything either. Am I missing something or is this still broken?

I'm not seeing any issue with enabling visual filters so we'll need to try and work out what is happening.

Are you unable to enable filters on any resource or is it a specific one(s) that is causing a problem?

Can you provide a screenshot of what you see when you try to open the Visual Filter menu from the toolbar?

Hi Graham, thanks for the help. I am trying to enable visual filters on the ESV Bible. Its not available on any resource. The toggle switch is grayed out and cannot be switched on. I thought it was perhaps a limitation of the free software, so I upgraded and it's still unavailable, so that's unfortunate. I've attached an image.

I'm simply trying to set up the software to where my cursor highlight over a word in the English will highlight the corresponding Greek. To my understanding this requires visual filters. Is that right?

Nevermind. I've figured it out. It would not come on because I did not have any filters to apply apparently. Sorry about that.

Sorry - I missed this earlier.

This is not done using Visual Filters - you need to use the Emphasize menu in the Formatting tab, and choose the options you want from the Corresponding words section
