Logos 4 has lost it's upper left x and now I can't close the program without clicking the tab at the bottom of the windows screen. Any suggestions. Just started today.
Assuming you can get Logos to have the focus (that is, be the active application) and assuming this is Windows (you said "the upper left x", which makes me not sure), there are a couple of ways you can close it:
1) Use the key combination "Alt-F4". This is a standard Windows hotkey to close an application.
2) Use the key combination "Alt-Spacebar". This opens the menu from the top left of an application. You can use the cursor keys to scroll down to "Close" and then press enter. Or you can press the 'C' key while the menu is displayed.
If that doesn't work (still assuming Windows , you can bring up Task Manager and kill the Logos process. Hit "Ctrl-Alt-Delete" and pick "Start Task Manager" (or something close to that, depending on which version of Windows). On the "Applications" tab, right-click the Logos application and pick "End Task". ***NOTE*** This is a brute force way to end a program. I don't know if it might have any adverse effects on Logos.

The upper windows status bar is what is missing. I can't minimize, maximize or close the program with my mouse. I check loads of other programs, Logos 4 is the only program displaying this odd behavior. If I change my screen resolution it comes back. But when I reboot it is gone again. Strange. Any ideas how to fix it?
Hi
This was a problem for a long time - see http://community.logos.com/forums/p/16759/126818.aspx for discussions.
I thought I saw a post somewhere to say it had been fixed - but can't find it - and I still see this from time to time.
In http://community.logos.com/forums/t/10783.aspx there is reference to a command "set custom chrome to no" which was intended to provide a workaround to the problem.
Hope this helps
Graham
I think what's happening here is that the top of your window is "above" what your monitor is showing. I would bet you are running Windows 7. What you need to do is hover over your Logos Icon until the preview panels appear, right click on the main window preview and select Maximize. The window should now fill the whole screen and the regular close, minimize and restore buttons should be available. This happens because Logos 4 and Aero snap don't play well with each other (if I'm interpreting your problem correctly).
This was just the help needed. Win 7 and somehow logos4 shifted part way off the screen and I couldn't get it to move back into place. Kevin's directions corrected the problem. Thanks.
