Reading Plan starts January 1st

Hi- I am trying to set up a reading plan for "The Bible Recap: A One Year Guide…"

I can't get a new reading plan to start Jan 1st, with the first reading session. It wants to include introduction and contents page.

Also, it breaks in the middle of pages, not at the beginning and ending of sessions for each day's reading.
