Can I edit the frequency of marketing emails?

I appreciate Logos sending out emails about products I might want or sales or whatever, but it is getting a little excessive. For example, I have received FIVE marketing emails today, and it isn't even the evening yet. So it is at the point where I am starting to not even read the emails anymore since they are occurring so frequently. Is there a way to have settings so that I receive sales emails and such, just not so frequently? Once a week, or even a couple times a week seems ok, just not multiple times a day.

ps - What's up with needing to add a tag? When it forced me to do so, I created "Marketing" as a tag, but I needed to choose from one of them, so I sort of arbitrarily chose one of the tag options.

@Kristin Log in to logos.com, click on your profile picture in the top right corner, and select “eMail Lists”. From there, you can manage which E-Mails you want to receive.

Hi @P. Christoph Blohberger, thanks for letting me know, but that is actually my concern. My options seem to be either receiving excessive marketing emails, or turning them off. Is there a way to receive marketing emails, just not be bombarded by them?

Nope. It's all or nothing. I'm in nothing mode presently. They said they would be working on making it better this year …

Hi @Yasmin Stephen, ok, thanks for letting me know. Tbh, I am actually surprised that it is all or nothing, as that seems sort of short sighted from a marketing perspective. I think there are a lot of people who would appreciate marketing emails a few times a month (or once a week at most), but very few will tolerate multiple emails every day for long. I like reviewing the Logos emails, but they are honestly so frequent that it is becoming disruptive to my work. So I guess I will turn them off. Thank you for confirming this.

Sadly, I've also had to turn mine off. Like you mentioned, soooo many emails a day (sometimes even up to 6 or 7!) and what triggered me to turn off email notifications was the fact that they market resources to you that you already own.

At the moment I open the Dashboard in my Logos app to get pretty much all of that communication there but I wish Logos (at least the marketing department) would listen to their users as this is a common complaint.

This is often mentioned here. A lot of us just got to the point where after getting 5+ e-mails every day, we just unsubscribe.

And it really is all or nothing. I recently tried signing up for the deal of the day e-mails, since they did away with posting them on social media. There's no way to sign up to ONLY get the deal of the day e-mails - you also have to sign up to get the e-mail chains above them. I never ended up getting any deal of the day e-mails but I did get 5+ e-mails each day until I unsubscribed again.
