I have a note that has two references: (1) a Bible reference, say Daniel 1 and is highlighted blue and shows Daniel 1 when I hover over or click on it. (2) a reference to a specific page in a book that I created by selecting some text (HtP Month 2, Day 4), clicking make link in the toolbar and pasting the URL I copied from the book I am referencing, e.g. "https://ref.ly/a/hbkpray/Day4.4.35". This all works great as expected.
The above note is my Journal for today, and I like to use it as template for the next day. So I normally select all, copy, create a new note on a specific date, paste and then change the various fields. So first I change HtP Month2 , Day 4 to Day 5 by deleting the 4 and replacing it with a 5. I then select the Month 2, Day 5 and click make link in the toolbar and paste the new URL to day 5. The Month 2, Day is updated to the new link, but the 5 remains black regular text. I can select the 5 and create a link with the new URL and it will then turn blue and link correctly. This is consistent every time I follow the above procedure. The work around is to update the link first and then click before the "y" in Day and type "y 5", then delete the extra "y and 4".
Similarly, if I then proceed to change Daniel 1 to Daniel 2 by deleting the 1 and typing the 2 and a space. The word Daniel remains blue but the 2 is regular black text. The link still points to Daniel 1 and nothing I do, except to delete the whole word and retype it from scratch does it start linking to Daniel 2. This does not happen every time, but often. I am guessing that if I mess with the HtP Month issue first that it spills over into the regular Bible references not updating properly. If I change the Daniel reference first it works fine. Sorry I am a little fuzzy on this because it does not happen every time. I can quit and restart Logos and the Daniel problem once it occurs persists. A better work around than retyping the reference in it's entirety is to select the entire reference and cut and paste it back in and the link then is updated as you would expect.
Can anyone seen this, or can anyone reproduce it?
