I generally like the L4 Sentence Diagrammer, but there are a couple of things that frustrate me. I use this tool a lot and would really like the folks at Logos to make it even better.
1. Bug or bad feature if intended. The drawing tool (pencil) has a mind of its own. Sometimes it will allow me to draw a free-form line; while other times it assumes I want some symbol from the palette and changes my line to that symbol. This is really a pain especially when trying to connect a pronoun to its antecedent with a dotted line. If I want a symbol, I want to pick it from the palette; and if I want to draw a line, please let me do it. I really think you should remove having the drawing tool "guess" what I want.
2. It would be nice to have a toggle button to quickly turn shape handles on and off, rather than having to go through a two-step process of going through the Display menu.
3. Two symbols on the shapes patette that are missing are the combined left and right Conjunction and Goalpost symbols. These are needed especially in diagramming compound verbs.
Like I said, I use this tool a lot and would really like to see these things addressed by Logos.
