Suddenly I am unable to link text copied into MS Word so that it opens directly in Logos. It will only open through a web browser, which is completely unacceptable.
In the best earlier version, Logos could be programmed to create a link opening directly in Logos. In a programming mistake, that option was taken away.
However, I could still (for instance) select the text in Logos, drag and drop it into Word, return to the selected text in Logos, press Ctrl+Alt+C, return to Word, right click the link, select Edit hyperlink, and paste the resultant link. Then the text would open directly in Logos.
But now even that process copies a link opening a web page.
This is completely unacceptable. It is making Logos LESS useful to me. First, I don't want the extra step. Second and more importantly, what do I do when I'm offline? One doesn't always work with a network!
If there's a workaround, I need it, now. If it's a bad programming change, it needs to be remedied in the next release.
UPDATE: THIS IS NOT A MICROSOFT ISSUE. THIS IS A LOGOS ISSUE.
Example of link Logos used to create as I describe above: logosres:systheoculver;ref=Page.p_244;off=3470
That STILL WORKS in Word. Logos has stopped creating it in the method described above.
Example of exact same link in the unsatisfactory extra-step/network-required link: https://ref.ly/logosres/systheoculver?ref=Page.p+244&off=3514&ctx=fore+Forensic+Unity%0a~The+human+race+is+an
