Shane Rosenthal (who worked for years for Michael Horton's White Horse Inn) has written a most interesting (and highly plausible, imho) volume regarding the identities of Joanna (Lk 8:3, 24:10) and the "most excellent Theophilus” (Lk 1:3). I won't do a spoiler, but you can discover his thesis for yourself by watching this recent video:
