Has anything changed in the way indexing is prioritised?

For a long time, I could have Logos indexing on my computer with no noticeable impact on performance of other apps.

Recently - and I don't know when it started - but certainly for some months this is no longer the case. When Logos is indexing (or at least for some of the indexing process), it has a significant impact on overall performance on my computer to the extent that other apps can become nearly unusable.

This is on a computer running Windows 11, with an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 5800X processor, 16GB RAM and using a 1TB SSD with 90GB free space (I wonder if freeing up a bit more space would help).

Is anyone else seeing a similar impact when indexing or do I have a specific problem on my computer?

FYI: I have not noticed this. I had a slower computer (up until the end of November) than you have and didn't notice a change then. My new computer doesn't slow down.

I don't have any suggestions, but hopefully your question about a change in the way Logos indexes will get answered.
