Local Books on Ipod Touch 4 for Off-line Reaing

I recently purchased the newest version of the Ipod Touch, Although it is slower than several other Bible applications I have installed, I want to use the Logos application because Logos 4 is my main desktop system. I have downloaded several books for off-line reading with no problem.

I often refer to The Preachers Commentary on my desktop. Is there a way to download the whole set to my Ipod without having to download them as individual books?

Currently there is not, but interest has been shown by users who wish to do so. I have downloaded nearly every book that is available in my library and have had to download each one individually. (It took me nearly a week of doing so, on and off...) It's a pain, but so nice to have so many resources at your fingertips.

I can't be sure, because it doesn't list specifically in Itunes what it considers "Apps" and "Other". I added up my apps and had a little over 2gb, but Itunes shows 12.2gb used, so I am guessing that I have about 10gb of resources on it. I could be wrong, but that's my best guess. The Logos app tends to be a little slower with all of my resources on it, but it is still usable.

I fear the day that I have to restore my ipod because Itunes doesn't back up any of the resources. It took me over a week to download all of my resources, doing a little bit each day.

edit--

I just checked on my PC and my resource folder is a little over 10gb, so I doubt that much is all resources on the ipod. All the resources are not available for the ipod that I have and I did not download everything that was available. Unless the files for the ipod touch are larger than for the PC, I would guess anywhere from 7 to 10gb. Long answer for a simple question...

Thanks Tom for the information. I'm trying to decide between a 16GB vs 32GB iPod Touch / iPad (when I do get one of these).
