This may not be new but I noticed it today. I was looking for the expression "that day" in 2 Thessalonians (NASB 1995) which I was sure to have seen the day before. I hit Ctr-F for a quick find and it did not show. Wondering if I remembered wrong, I tried just looking for "day" and found it.
I verified since that this CTL-F will not find a hit if there a note indicator in what is being searched. Wondering how many hits I missed over the years without realizing it. To be sure, the search window does not have this limitation and it is my primary go-to. However CTL-F is there for a reason and it has this important limitation.
