Is there a way to check newly added books or to priotize books by the date of addition?
See this:

You can make this easier by Dragging the icon in front of the directory path in Windows Explorer to the Logos short-cut bar. (One problem with this, however, is that the directory path will be different on different machines, so if you have a desktop and laptop (e.g.) the short-cut will appear on both machines, but will only work on the machine you used to make the short-cut.)
In the 4.2 beta, there is a new sort category for the Library tool called "Last Updated" which makes this possible to do within Logos, and therefore much easier. It also makes the above short-cut tip, totally unnecessary.
Logos 4.2 which is in beta testing adds a column to your Library called 'Last Updated' where it will list the date of the most recent update to that resource you have received (it starts, unfortunately with the date you install the software. I doesn't go back and discover dates prior to that.). That is the best we will have. Updated is not the same as newest, of course, since that includes corrections to resources after you first received them. This tool is meant to help us discover 'what was just downloaded?' and not do exactly what you are interested in.
As to prioritizing them this way, no. I am not sure the usefulness of that either as prioritized resources should be the ones you want to see come up at the top of searches, etc. which for most of would not be based on how recently we purchased them.
