I am using the Study Assistant to gather answers to questions. I will use the material in articles and books. How to I cite the use of Study Assistant? How can I find the date that I accessed the Study Assistant?
I would recommend citing the resources directly, not the study assistant query.
I generally didn't cite search results in my academic writings unless it was something I could export to a verse list or be able to easily allow someone to reproduce.
Jim Bowling,
I cite the resources that I use from the results of the SA.
I tried the following and it works:
20260317 - How many books are in the apocrypha?
It is a bit clumsy but does the job.

For the following that you wrote (20260317 - How many books are in the apocrypha?) is that the date and a question that you had asked? But I don’t know the date. And maybe I don’t need to if my use is only to cite the books and resources that SA lists.
20260317 (YYYYMMDD) is the date of the query if you intend quoting it. Otherwise you cite the books that it lists.
Personally I would not use the AI summary in an article, paper, sermon, book etc so I would not need the date I ran the study assistant. The AI summary helps provide context to the results returned but I would be working directly from those resources for my project and so only need to cite the resources I actually used.
Simon’s Brother that makes sense about the access date using the SA. This is my first dive into the waters of publishing. Thanks
Dr Nathan Parker your comments are helpful. I appreciate the good help here. Thanks
Jim

I just noticed that the most recent update of my desktop Logos (legacy) has had the "fuzzy" search option removed, leaving only the option to subscribe for "Smart" search for other than "Precise" search. Is the former fuzzy search no longer available? If it still available, how to do I restore it as an option?
I'm finding a way where I can easily click on my ESV Bible and see my highlights from commentaries. I've tried clicking "add anchor" in the highlight from the commentary and then adding Gal 2:17. However, the result is that the whole verse in the ESV gets highlighted yellow. If I remove the highlight colour from the note,…
Bibleworks allowed users to choose from portions of the Bible that had descriptive headers. Example: Exodus 2:1 - Birth and Youth of Moses Logos only lists chapters with no descriptive headings. How can I get the same function that Bibleworks offered in Logos?
Are there any plans for the Smart search to include searching my Notes as well as my books/resources? I recently asked it specifically to search my Notes, in hopes of finding information I may have dealt with in the past, but it indicated that was not possible. Thanks for any update. Dennis Toll
I am doing a study for both self and also for a small group and I am trying to find a verse or verses in scripture that relate to the Completeness of God in Himself and does not require us because He needs us to fulfil something in Himself.
