The web version of the Study Assistant does not browse resource titles correctly compared to the Desktop version or the source of truth. It browses resource Authors correctly (list by Author, not by Book).
I recently (3/17/2026) bought a resource (Scot McKnight and Cody Matchett, Revelation for the Rest of Us: A Prophetic Call to Follow Jesus as a Dissident Disciple (Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan Reflective, 2023). When I went to use Study Assistant in the Web version, it refused to come up by title as an option in the resource field, but it did come up by author, and I was successfully able to query it:
By "refused to come up," I mean when I typed "revelation" it said "4478 books with revelation," although none of the visible results appeared to involve the keyword "revelation", and excluded my book:
If I extended it to "revelation for the rest of us" the same 4478 results re-appeared. If I changed the query to "the", the same result summary 4478 "books with the" showed up, although now I have three types (systematic theology, 71; biblical theology, 19; thesaurus, 1), a few dozen "authors" (mostly onesy-twosies), and the same list of books (which, by the way, is at most 100-200 count, nowhere near the over-4,000 monographs I own or which were claimed in the result count):
In fact it doesn't matter what I type, I get the same result:
In the desktop app, typing the same "revelation" yields "138 books with revelation" (with relevant/plausible results, different from web version)
If I type "aquinas", it says the same "4478 books with aquinas", but shows "author/Thomas Aquinas (54)" which is correct according to the Desktop Library dialog:
In the desktop app Library dialog, typing "revelation" yields 141 results (two of which are media collections, undoubtedly excluded by the Study Assistant).
