Descriptive Bible Chapter List

Bibleworks allowed users to choose from portions of the Bible that had descriptive headers. Example: Exodus 2:1 - Birth and Youth of Moses

Logos only lists chapters with no descriptive headings.

How can I get the same function that Bibleworks offered in Logos?

Not sure about whatever Bibleworks did or didn't. Titles for passages are part of the individual bibles, i.e. may be different for various bibles (e.g. the NET which I happen to have open titles its header for Ex 2,1-10 "The Birth of the Deliverer", while NIV 2011 has "The Birth of Moses"). However, such passages only sometimes happen to be identical to chapters, which probably is the reason this kind of headers does not usually feature in the ToC navigation pane. However, you may use the navigator bar to find a passage by title and go there directly (I just put in "birth" to get the various passages, then can select the one I meant without knowing how a specific bible named that header) .

Some bibles have such pericope headers, others don't. The pericpe tool (part of Passage Analysis) will allow you to see where those pericopes start and end and how they are named in dofferent bibles.

As I said, whithin a specific bible you can easily navigate there, and a part of that list will be shown in the navigator bar's location field:

Thanks for this suggestion. It isn't what I am looking for, but it is useful to know it exists.
