What if Logos Went Bankrupt?

I'm just curious as to what hope we would have if Logos went under, say in 10 or 20 years from now?
Obviously many have invested thousands of dollars, would we lose everything? Would there be some way to at least get our books in some useable format?
Would there be some final Logos version that could be used until our computers are too old to use?

Interested in your thoughts.

Well, Nathan, the traditional answer is … Logos is so big (customer base, cash flow) that someone would buy it. That was the former CEO's argument (Bob). And you'd have to think about what might cause a 'bankruptcy' (essentially a realignment of debt).

The bigger issue I've always argued is an unacceptable new owner. What would you do then? Luckily the present new owner is aligned well with the customer base.

I think it’s safe to say that many of us long time users do NOT feel that Cove Hill Partners are “aligned well with the customer base,” as evidenced by the recent policy change that orders with pricing errors can be taken back at any time, prepub orders do not have to be honored at the original price they were locked in at, etc. These are policy shifts that literally go against the culture that Bob had created at Logos to give customers peace of mind, and now they are gone. Not to mention the still persistent pushback to subscription-only policies and AI credit requirements.

Could go a step further and what happens when anything Christian is labeled as hate speech? Then government bodies shut down Logos. Or surely when the anti-christ is in control. Logos will be no more.
There will come a generation of Christians that will lose Logos.
I make sure to have all my books and courses downloaded. In hopes that if I’m alive at that time I can still have offline access to them.
I truly feel it’s still important to have actual books. You don’t need a lot. But enough that if things get banned you still have something.
I’d like to get at a point financially to buy a few case lots of bibles. Just stash them so if things go south. I have bibles to hand out.
