Old Logos version install

Question

Many years ago I installed Logos 2.1 (yes, that long ago). With moves and new computers I didn't reinstall it. Another move is coming and I'm looking at all my old software and came upon the three Logos 2.1 CDs. I thought why not get it up and running. It will still have value. The readme file says installation requires booting a diskette (!). I don't have that diskette. Is there any way I can install this version?

It will not install on any modern computer. It is a 16 Bit app, and Microsoft did away with 16 Bit years ago.

You can either try to cobble together an ancient offline PC using an abandonware version of Windows (from a site like WinWorldPC, note that if you do this, it's a major security risk to expose it to the Internet).

Your best option would be to email Customer Service and see if they can unlock the books from those CDs in your Logos account, then download the latest engine of Logos on a modern PC. I have been able to do that with old LLS 2.x and Libronix books and keep running with those titles in the latest version of Logos.

I did have 2.1 but I doubt it would install without an old version of  Internet Explorer browser (prior to v.8).

The CD with the readme file should have a Setup? folder from where something like setup.exe should try to do the job.
