I remember years ago seeing the syntax where I could find all the commentaries that discussed certain passages together.

I want to see all Bible commentaries that mention Matthew 24 and I Thessalonians 4 together where they discuss how the Parousia in Mt relates to the one in Paul.

I forgot the syntax. I asked the Study Assistant, and it was unable to retrieve any information.

What can I do?

Is a commentary search using the string below the sort of thing you are looking for?

"1 thess 4" IN milestone:"Matt 24"

This will find all times 1 Thessalonians 4 is mentioned in commentaries discussing Matthew 24

And you could reverse it to find where Matt 24 is mentioned in commentaries discussing 1 Thessalonians 4.

question: so TYPE commentary is enough? Logos has both Commentary and Bible Commentary types.

@Graham Criddle This may be too broad. I'll have to check later. I am concerned with the issue of the Parousia. Using the synopsis view, it looks like it pulled up verses that have a 1 in front of them, like 1 Tim. And even 2 Thessalonians.

I don't have time to do this now.

you are correct in that type"bible commentary" is more correct. I tend to use the shortened version as it doesn't seem to make a significant difference on these types of searches.

When you have time I would be interested to see that as it shouldn't pick up passages outside of those specified.

I wish AI had been more helpful. Matthew mentions the Parousia as does Thessalonians. I rarely see both books discussed in the same place
