Is there a tool or resource to quickly & easily find repetitions in the text of Scripture to find grammatical structures quicker?

not trying to be lazy, but honestly... this would save me a ton of time, and would be a nice way to "check my work".

    Hi Bob

Can you give a couple of specific examples of what you are trying to do?

    Thanks, Graham

Sounds like if you are looking for grammatical structures, for example, certain verbs in a certain tense associated with nouns of a certain person, then you are looking for the syntax search.

There are some good videos on the website which address syntax searching.  I assume you know how to use the clausal outlines, so perhaps you can figure it out yourself without the videos from the Search tool.

Let us know if this helps and if we can help further.

Well... one thing that comes to mind when I think of this type of search is Isaiah 6:3 where the KJV uses the words Holy, Holy, Holy.

Coming from Accordance, you could use an English construct to search for a wildcard word within 1 word of each other where they agree... It finds this very easily.

How would you do such a search in Logos?

Well one of the first things I do is print out a text so I can mark it up - find repetitious words/phrases... bookends, etc.  I'm typically looking for the grammatical structure of the text, if there are repetitions & what do they indicate about the structure, theme, applications, etc.

It would be very helpful if a tool or resource already had this done for a variety of passages.

The only way I can think of doing this is with a Syntax search and this only works against an Original Language (i.e. not English) and there it is dependent on the capabilities within the resource.

So, for example, the search below finds adjacent Greek words with the same meaning.

I can't think of any way to do this against an English translation.

    Bob,

They won't do all you mention above but have you looked at the various clausal outline resources such as the example below for 1 John 1:1?
