Books

Question

I have a few book I refer to often and copy quotes from for my Bible research.  These books are not in the Logos library or the print library.  Is there way to have these books stored in Logos, so when I reference them, I can recall the book without having to type the source into Notes over and over again?

I take a sharp razor to the print copy and reduce it to pages that can be feed through scanner.  Once in is in a PDF format, you can use a PDF converter to turn it into a word document.  Then find a picture of the cover and make a personal book.  It works great!

If you have an electronic version of the books in question, you can build them as Personal Books and they will work like other Logos resources. If you only have a printed copy, but it is not able to be put into the Logos Print Library, you might build a "dummy" personal book from a one-pager in Word that just has the title or cover art in it, and then reference it in your notes, sermons or whatever you build in Logos.
