Just info. I hadn't noticed you can choose whether FL's AI friend analyzes your posts, etc. I don't know what that translates to … the posts are public, though I suppose there might be a marketing angle eventually. I turned mine off … who knows.
Above seen when you Edit the Profile seen in your avatar.
I turned mine off also. This is something that should be off by default, rather than FL assuming it's something we want, and not even informing us that they've turned it on.
Definitely shut off.
I don't appreciate that without my permission, Logos decided to let AI analyze my data by default. The New Logos…

Hi all, our community manger is out today. We'll ask him to look into this when he's back to see what we can do to adjust that setting moving forward. In the meantime, please do opt out if you'd like to.
Thank you, Jennifer
Thank you for flagging this. I can work on a community-wide announcement if that'd be helpful, but here is a bit of context around this use of AI and a recent update to our community platform.
Our community platform is hosted on Higher Logic Vanilla. Higher Logic Vanilla's AI Suggested Answers (Beta) helps fill engagement gaps by surfacing up to three AI-generated responses when a question hasn't received a human reply yet. Suggestions are clearly labeled as AI-generated and are only visible to the person who asked — they choose whether to accept or dismiss them. Admins control which content sources the AI draws from (e.g., posts/threads and the Logos User Wiki).
A recent community platform release that dropped last week takes this further with AI Processing Preferences, giving users even more visibility and control over how their content is used by AI features — all manageable from their own profile settings.
Happy to answer any additional questions!
@Jason S. (Logos)
My two-cents is that if this is supposed to be the Logos 'community' then AI stepping in front of everyone is going to drive down engagement. Sometimes I just need to google an answer and get a quick fix, but other times the resulting discussion about how to tackle a problem offers more benefit. I like that the forums have policies on users offering AI generated answers so that the human element isn't lost here.
