When examining the names of people with 'el' using root.h:אֵל.5 EQUALS morph.h:NP[FM] I noticed that Israel/Jacob had been tagged without a gender. Also excluded for the same reason is a female (Mehetabel) in Gen 36:39.
Thanks for catching and reporting this. We have them tagged as absolute but without gender, maybe because they don't change form? IDK? Both HALOT and DCH have (יִשְׂרָאֵל) listed as a masculine proper noun though. I'll get these fixed, and look for other proper nouns that should have a gender associated with them.
@Jimmy Parks Thank you.
