Bible verse entry box

After leaving the desktop app open for a few minutes, the verse entry box in the Bible becomes unresponsive and does not allow entry. It also does not update when scrolling the Bible. I have to restart the app to fix it each time. See screenshot of the problem.

I left the ESV open between foreground and background for about 4 min but could not reproduce the problems.

We should see what other Mac users experience.
