How are notebooks sorted in the Notes tool? I use to think they were alphabetical but they are not - look at this list. Is there a setting for this?
It would appear that the Mac sort is different to Windows:
i.e. Mac numbers are sorted as numbers and articles are ignored. But is it a bug when Windows is strict alpha?
Yes Mac sort looks wrong. That's a bug, right? I don't even know what that sort choice is.
I don't even know what that sort choice is.
Isn't it just ignoring articles at the beginning of a title as Dave was suggesting?
@Graham Criddle sorry, what do you mean by articles?
"a", "the", "an".
On my Mac, they sort alphabetically. As others have mentioned, definite and indefinite articles are ignored. However, numbers work if you want to put a notebook on top.
"0 Bowman Questions" puts this notebook at the top of the list.
Ah I see now, thanks @Dave Hooton @Graham Criddle and @Jack Caviness !
