Upgrade & loss of downloaded resources?
I'm not very knowledgeable in the use of the iPod Touch. I noticed in another thread that a newer version of the Logos app is available, 1.4.4. I didn't see a specific provision for upgrade, so I went to the iTunes stored and selected Install.
In my Library, the arrows pointing to various resources I've downloaded are gone and these books don't appear to be available for off-line reading.
As I re-download resources, the indication of complete download comes up very quickly, e.g. 20 seconds for a 800 page book. It is as if some of the resources are still in the iPod's memory and are being rediscovered.
Is there a better way to upgrade, so I don't lose access to downloaded resources?
Is there a way to see what files are downloaded besides the Logos Library display?

No to both questions. The only way to upgrade the app is through the app store.unless you are beta testing an app.
As for files, the only way to see them is look for the icon in the Library list.
What you describe happening has happened to others, although I am fortunately not one. Mine may be a different circumstance as I was not updating from a public build. But while it may be annoying it should not happen much if ever again, let's hope.

I don't recall losing downloaded resources on earlier updates, so I was beginning to wonder if something was corrupt on my iPod. I only had a few dozen books downloaded and they came back remarkably fast, so it was no big deal to get them again. Seems to be working fine now anyway. Thanks for your take on the matter.
