The Mission of God's People: A Biblical Theology of the Church's Mission by Christopher Wright is the book I have been searching/waiting for for two decades. In a highly accessible yet thorough manner Wright draws us into the whole mission of the whole church in the whole world as it emerges through all of Scripture. This is an extremely important book which brings the results of much heavier academic work into a form which is attractive and readable for a wide range of congregants. It would be excellent if LOGOS were able to promote this book by working out an agreement with the publisher to offer a limited time free preview.
