History of the English Baptists - incorrect date?

Hmm... Thomas Crosby must have been quite the prognosticator if he was able to write a History of the English Baptists before it happened!
By the way, this title in Community Pricing is up to about 84%.

I'm curious to know where all the interest is coming from for English Baptist history! [:P]

It might be that it's just a particularly cheap resource to produce so it didn't take many takers to get up that far on the percentage. It sure went up faster than Barnes Notes and Hastings' works. I didn't spring for it early on as it's not a particular area of interest of mine. But when I saw it getting close, and for not all that much money, I figured why not, it might be useful as a reference someday.

Those cover dates are completely incorrect--
"The timeframe spanning from Wycliffe to the reign of Queen Anne is broken up into four parts in this collection"
--which is mid 1300s to early 1700s.
Whoever made the cover must have referenced another work.

Yep I think it's "Joseph Ivimey, The History of the English Baptists". 1811-1830 are the publication dates of the 4 volumes of that work.
From reading it on Google books, it looks like he relied on Crosby's work heavily. But in a way, it's better than Crosby, since it's written in a more modern voice and covers a greater time span. Perhaps we should get it in Logos too.

Ah yes, you're right. We've already had a discussion about this in which I participated. I have a short memory. [:$]
And I should have posted this on the Logos.com forum so it could be seen and addressed.
