Resources Missing from PC to Mac

I have 2661 resources in PC version Logos 4. I bought a new Macbook Pro and tried to install Logos 4 Mac and download resources. I only got 2655 resources in my Mac library. There are 6 books were missing. I already tried "Update resources" command key to update my resources. It did not work. How can I get them back?

Hi Dan,

It may be that you have some 3rd party Libronix resources that Logos 4 discovered on your PC when it scanned the Libronix DLS\Resources folder that aren't on your Mac. Two of the missing six might be the Preacher's Commentary and Word Biblical Commentary Quick Start Guides (for Libronix).

Hi Melissa,

I compared PC and Mac. I typed Preacher's Commentary and Word Biblical Commentary on each computer. They both showed the same numbers of resources 114 for Word Biblical Commentary, 36 for Preacher's Commentary on PC and Mac. It looks like I do not miss resources on these commentaries.

Wiki page http://wiki.logos.com/An_update_is_downloading,_what_is_it#Check_Resources has resource paths on Mac and PC. Resource file names tend to be spelled the same - can compare directory listings (perhaps using a spreadsheet) to find differences.

Advanced option: compare SQLite database tables (bottom of Wiki page could be helpful).

L4 Mac is missing 3 Logos 2 resources that never updated to L3: Taking Charge; The Book of Excellence and The Book of Success... old Baker titles I believe. Perhaps L4 Mac has problems with Logos 2 resources... I know the difference between my PC and Mac.

Interesting. I have one more resource on L4 Mac than I do in L4 Win! Since I am anticipating the disappearance of L4 Win from my computers, it is not worth the trouble of finding the missing resource over there.

If you go to the file containing your resources for L4 Win and sort by type you can see if you have any Logos 2 files that I have been unable to get to install in L4 Mac. The other culprit was Timelines. You may want to compare those as well, but L4 Mac supposedly fixed this problem. Those are two pretty quick ways to check without going line by line comparing your libraries.
