Collection Offerings Woes

Well, this concern and request has been voiced before but since it does not seem to have made much of a difference, perhaps there will be use to rekindle it and get the message through to Logos:
THE RESOURCES YOU OFFER ARE REALLY NICE BUT MANY OF US ARE EITHER ONLY INTERESTED IN SOME BUT NOT ALL TITLES OR CANNOT AFFORD BUYING WHOLE COLLECTIONS ALL THE TIME. PLEASE OFFER TITLES IN COLLECTIONS AS INDIVIDUAL PURCHASES.
I know and understand that the price is better for collections. I know and understand that individual resources might be more expensive. But is more profit to be made from collections people won't buy (though I understand that a number do) or from a larger number of users able to purchase the individual resources they want AND collections for those who like these deals better?
Even if the price is not as advantageous, as long as it is not ridiculous, it's hard to understand how once Logos has already done the work of compiling the resources, there would be a "greater" cost to selling them individually. I think it's fine to offer collections first and for a while as a marketing device to help the company's earnings. But consider the NICNT/NICOT and many, many other examples: individual titles remain unavailable. The NIGTC has been split but the price is insanely prohibitive. Can't a better compromise be found?
Here is the result: I am forced to continue to buy printed resources that are available in Logos collections simply because it is much cheaper to do so or within my means, even though I would prefer to have them in Logos. In addition, once I buy the print edition, it seems hard to go back and buy "again" the resource electronically.

Often (usually) this is outside of Logos's control. It is the publisher that insists on these things being sold as a bundle. Logos can sometimes renegotiate the contract with them after a sufficient time has passed and I believe that's why they've been able to begin splitting some of the older collections into individual titles. So you don't need to keep buying printed resources, just wait and you'll probably eventually be able to buy them one-by-one in Logos.

Rosie, this works as far as the wishlist goes, but not for resources that are specifically needed at a given time. Incidentally, I am one of those who rarely buy what I don't need specifically. Hence the need to go ahead with the print edition in such circumstances.
Concerning your explanation, I have heard an explanation like yours before: is this what you (and others) think or is this what Logos says?

Logos has said it. That is how I formulated what I think about it. I am generally pretty careful to point out that something is my speculation when I don't know for sure. I can't find a link to it on the Logos Speaks page on the wiki, but they've said it on the forums at least once if not more than once. I'll Google around to see if I can find it. And if I can't, I'll ask someone from Logos to post about it officially again so we can provide a link for others who ask in the future. Thanks for pushing for clarification. I realize this is a frustration for many of us.
