I guess this is something I ought to vote for, but I have to admit I haven't read him, and, although I support all good Catholic books on principle, I can think of several hundred I want more. Sorry!

I can only remember seeing his broadcasts in black & white. (That dates me) I especially liked him when he talked with children and his straight forward comments on Communism.
Bishop Sheen is one of those few whose voice is so distinctive I hear it while reading something he wrote. (J Vernon McGee and Harry Ironside are two others I hear while I am reading. I wonder if that is a significant something about myself or the "voices."
