Bibliography and in text citations

As I am completely confident that there are a multitude
(even a mixed multitude... these are the jokes people...) of individuals who use
Logos bible software for writing papers, I feel equally confident that someone
will understand better citations and their assisted usage from Logos.

That said, I'm curious what methods and tools people use for
generating, tracking, and building BOTH bibliography's and noting in text
citations over foot noting.

For example, I copy  short, the relationship between genre and
setting is not at all a simple matter of style, structure, and a little
sociology. It depends upon a host of factors related to the act of performance
in non-literate situations. [1]
and using copy/paste Logos foot noting I get the '1' note and the following in
the document footer: "ed Robert C. Culley, ed Robert C. Culley and
Society of Biblical Literature, Semeia.
Semeia 5
, Semeia (Missoula, MT: Society of Biblical Literature, 1976). 45."

However, I don't want that, I want the in text citation "(Culley, Robert. 45)"
then a properly formatted bibliography reference.  Can the Logos software assist me in this?

Logos allows us to choose from some different citation styles, which I think you already know about. Usually, the footnote looks right.

However, sometimes the end result doesn't look right. I've seen this too, though I'm not currently enrolled in any academic programs. What I do is to simply edit the footnote to the format I want (usually Turabian), and then copy/paste that to a Bibliography, where I rearrange it yet again for proper Bibliography specifications.

Richard, thank you for your answer.  Yes, I just don't use 'footnoting' I was hoping there was a good technique for creating a collection as you're going through writing a paper enabling the eventual creation of a well formatted Bibliography and that gives in text citations with the copy/paste...

I'd imagine others are interested in this as well...  No?
