I receive the notices of Logos Prepubs in my blog reader. Today there were over 300 posted. It is a overwhelming and I marked them as being all read. Is this related to the update of the website?
Wayne,
It probably is due to the site update.
You can see all the prepubs sorted from newest to oldest with this URL:
http://www.logos.com/products/search?Status=Pre-Pub&start=&sort=newest
I think it is - I saw the same phenomenon with Community Pricing resources yesterday. If they are reloading their site, or data on their site, or doing things typically associated with upgrading/installing a new version of their web installation, this is triggering the status to blog readers that new updates are available.
They should be doing their updates in a way that it does not appear to refresh all the resources to people whose readers are subscribed to the site's Atom, RSS feeds, etc., but sometimes they don't know and sometimes it can't be avoided.
I checked, no new prepubs today so far. It was safe and correct to just mark them all as read.
