Michael Barrett was my favorite professor in school and one of the biggest influences on my theological and spiritual development. I spent several years at the church where he is an elder. His teaching and writing wed solid exegesis and theology with rich, devotional application. His Complete in Him: A Guide to Understanding and Enjoying the Gospel is wonderful.

I wrote some thoughts on my blog tonight about why I think people should consider pre-ordering Barrett's works.
