Missing occurrences in the syntax search

Of
course, I’m probably not doing my syntax searches correctly, but no matter how
I do them, and whether I do them in Cascadia or Opentext.org, I always seem to
be able to find one or two missing occurrences through the use of Bibleworks. I
was wondering if it was my own user error, or if it is a database issue. Does anyone else have this same problem... or know what I'm doing wrong with my search? Thanks
so much.
One
quick example… I did a search to find any verses that have a duplicate
occurrence of the same verb. I did it many different ways, and I get a number of hits, but Heb. 2:16 never
came up, though it seems like it should… any ideas? it leads me to believe that maybe a number of other references are missing. Thanks,

You just have to look at the verses carefully to see what's up. I found the wiki help on strategies for syntax searching helpful when I first started.
At least in this one example you offered, it was not being found because the 2 occurrences are in different clauses. I created the same search but both starting from a Clause, and I got a hit in Hebrews 2:

Also, per your description shouldn't Word 1 be a Morph part-of-speech = Verb?

Good job Josiah! I was wondering if you would catch that it's a different search if it's within one clause or across clauses. You are getting the hang of it!
