Beta 5: Hang on startup after unlocking new title

Description

Logos 4 hangs on startup after unlocking new title in Logos 3.

Repro

  1. Exit all versions of Logos
  2. In Internet Explorer, go to www.logos.com
  3. Log in and/or click My Account
  4. Click Order History
  5. Click on most recent order # (NICOT/NICNT, which I had not yet downloaded)
  6. Go through the whole normal unlock process
  7. Boot Logos 3 and ascertain that the new resource is there.
  8. Exit Logos 3.
  9. Try to run Logos 4.

Actual Result

Hangs, "signing in" splash screen stays up forever. Eventually have to terminate app via Task Manager.

Expected Result

Start up normally.

System Specs

  • Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit, SP1
  • Custom built desktop PC with ASUS P5Q motherboard, Intel quad core, 8GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT with 512MB

    Hi Rosie,

    According to your log file, it appears that Beta 6 is installed. Have you restarted your computer since you last tried to start Logos 4?

    Yes, sorry I didn't get back to you on this. The problem went away after I upgraded to Beta 6, and of course it's a moot point now.
