I was very excited to see the new N.T. Wright collection appear in Pre-pub land ... imagine my dismay to discover that two of his most important books are missing, and one is already promised in the Fortress Paul pre-pub.
In particular, his important collection of academic papers .... "The Climax of the Covenant" is missing, as is his latest book on justification ..."Justification: Paul's Vision and God's Promise". In particular, this one develops his ideas from "Paul: Fresh Perspectives" in more detail .... and anyway, "Paul: Fresh Perspectives" is already in the Fortress Paul pre-pub.
It is great that Logos is putting this pre-pub together ... but what an opportunity missed!
One of the things that Wright is famous for is his development of the so-called "New Perspective on Paul" ... how can Logos fail to provide access to his most important writing in this area?
6 out of 10 - must try harder.
With these missing, I think I'll give this pre-pub a miss, and get the volumes I actually need when the collection is eventually broken up.
