Bible Types

Following the recent discussion on Bibles, I did some exploring of my Study Bibles:

Various study Bibles are typed: Bible Notes, Bible Commentary, and (in one case) Bible. Other books are also classed as Bible Notes - see the Life and Epistles of St. Paul. There seems to be some confusion (at least to me) as to what is a Bible Note and what is a Bible Commentary, I would think most of these should be Bible Notes,

Floyd, that is an outstanding collection. Yes I believe that they should be classified as Bible notes. See the following thread along these lines.

There seems to be some confusion (at least to me) as to what is a Bible Note and what is a Bible Commentary, I would think most of these should be Bible Notes,

If you don't think it is a commentary then it should be Bible Notes, and you can suggest the change at http://wiki.logos.com/Metadata_correction_proposals (also check the Proposals for consistency). I don't agree that all "Study Bibles" should be "Notes", but it is easy enough to include (some) type:Notes in a Commentary collection and also exclude some type:Commentary from a Commentary collection.
