Learn to use Greek and Hebrew with Logos

Hello everyone,

Could soomeone out there tell me a very easy way to copy the video's from the "Learn Greek and Hebrew with Logos" series to my hard drive and which directory to best put them in? Also, can you further give me better directions on downloading and putting into the same directory the new updated video's that came out yesterday? Thank you very much for you help.

Hi Michael ... Let's see how we can do this. First, RIGHT CLICK anywhere on the Desktop. Select NEW, then FOLDER. Rename the folder to LOGOS_VIDEOS or something similar. (This step may not be necessary if the videos are already in a folder called VIDEOS in the DVD, and my further comments will assume that the folder already exists).

After the DVD has been detected by the computer, simply RIGHT CLICK on START (or the odd looking globe if you have Win-7). Open Windows Explorer. Go down the listing in the left pane until you find the LOGOS DVD. Left-Click on it. In the RIGHT-HAND pane should be the contents of the DVD. If there is a folder called VIDEOS, simply RIGHT CLICK on that folder and drag it to your Desktop, then release the mouse button. The pop-up menu should give you the choice to COPY HERE on the Desktop. Choose that. Wait until all the files have been copied. When the files have been copied, then RIGHT CLICK on the folder that is now on the Desktop to rename it to LOGOS_VIDEOS so that you will recognize it months from now. You can either leave the folder amidst the clutter on your Desktop, or move it elsewhere on your hard drive.

As for downloading the new videos, it depends on how they've set up the account. I use the Firefox browser and automatically have it set up so that all downloads wind up on my Desktop. If you have the choice to RIGHT CLICK on the file(s) then you can change your default download location to anywhere you wish. I don't see that choice in my Order Summary, so I accept the default download location, then drag the files to my second hard drive.

Oh, yeah: the 7th grade teacher in me tells me that you don't need an apostrophe when making plurals.[:P]

I am having a problem with the new updated videos download. It downloads the files but cant unzip them. Says they are not valid. I have tried to download them 3 different times. Anyone else have this problem?

Downloaded fine for me. You may be having some line errors on your Internet Connection. DO you use a Download Manager?

I am on a MAC and do not use Download Manager. The Hebrew videos downloaded fine. The Greek videos download, but then give me a "decompression failed" notice. I have tried to download on two different networks, but no luck. Any ideas?
