search for words like in concordance

Hi!

Is it possible to search for a word in a specific bible with all its morphological changes?

I am asking because I am using SESB 3.0 in my windows virtualization software on my mac. There, when I search for a German word like "essen" (eat), SESB gives me all verses with the word "essen" and all its morphological changes (e.g. "isst" = "you eat", "aß" = "I ate", "gegessen" = "eaten", etc.). Now, Logos for Mac 4 has imported all my SESB library, but I am not able to perform the same search.

Can anybody help me?

There is an option on the search menu called 'Match all word forms'. If you turn this OFF, you'll just receive hits for essen, if it's ON you should receive hits for all forms.

This was already on, and I received all verses containing "essen", but not "aß" or "isst". On the other hand with SESB I could also find these. I also tried with other German bibles, nothing.

It looks like Logos doesn't support German word-stemming. I tried search for german:essen which should force the stemming, but it didn't really work. I've asked the question in another relevant thread, but you may want to telephone support, to find out for certain.

Thank you very much for your help! [:D] I wonder why this should work with the older version/libronix, but not with logos 4 - I hope that a future update can fix the problem. I will certainly call support, but, please, keep me updated if you find out how. Thanks.
