OT: Dave's Backup/Restore for L3 issue in L4 environment
Dave,
Not sure if it is only me? When I was
- Backuping up my production L3 environment (without L4 Installed - it works OK) on one VM and
- Restoring to my Test L3 environment (with L4 installed - problem ...) on another VM.
Running GetPaths.CMD in the L3 only environment, Install path is OK

Hi Lim
Try this version (rename to GetPaths.cmd)!
It should work with any mix of L3 and L4!

I was having the same issue with Backup\Restore. The new GetPaths.cmd seems to have corrected the issue!!!
Thanks Dave!

Dave,
Thank you so much! I will try it when I get back home later.
Thank you for reporting the problem!
The fix was done quickly as I was going away for a few days and I found it would not work in Windows 7 / Vista. So here is the official fix!
If I can think of a convenient excuse I might post it on the L3 side as well [:)]

Dave,
The earlier fix works for me on Windows XP Pro on Fusion 2.0.6. Did not test on Vista/Win7 environment, great to know that the official fix is available.
The fix will be important for those of us we are going to maintain L3 and L4 on the same system for a while.
Thanks [:)]

Dave,
I just Install VMware Fusion 3.0 with a fresh copy of Windows 7 Home Premium (x64) from ground zero. Followed by Installing Libronix 3.0f with out starting Libronix so that it does not prompt me for License ... I was about to use your script to do a RestoreLibronix ...I did a getpaths just to be sure in my new Windows 7 (x64) environment.
E:\ForVista>getpaths

Thanks again, Lim.
It worked because you installed to the default directory, but this fix will now account for Vista/Win 7 64-bit!.
Don't forget to copy it to C:\Windows as well as your normal script folder.
