How do I downloan and install a book I just purchased? I have followed all of the instructions and just kee going round and round.

Hi John, sometimes it takes a little while for Logos to download a resource (always been 10-20 minutes at the longest for me). Have you tried typing "Update Now" or "Update Resources", without the quotation marks, in the command bar?
7 hours later I was still getting no joy on update now. Then it came through on update resources. This is the longest I've had to wait. It would be helpful if Logos would put in the letter they send to say your download is ready that it may not download for a while, as many people may be concerned about this till they realise how the system works. Putting that on the letter would also save customer support getting enquiries from worried customers, as they have from me in the past.
I have always found that this method works perfectly and quickly every time (and I buy a lot of resources):
1. Wait until you have a confirmation email from Logos thanking you for the purchase, it's available, etc.
2. If Logos is running, EXIT.
3. Start or Restart Logos.
4. Type "Update Resources" in command bar
It will say checking for resources for 1-3 minutes, then the download starts. If I try Update Resources from a Logos that has been running since before Logos unlocked the resource, it will not find it - you must exit and restart.
Like I said, this works every time. Hope it works for you all!
Your approach didn't work for me today, 2 different times (same resources to be updated on 2 different computers). The only thing that got the resources to come through was to enable Automatic Updates and Use Internet in the settings. Then it automatically found the resources after a restart of L4. This doesn't make sense to me, as I always have Use Internet and Automatic Updates off; and using "Sync Now" in that scenario works and I've seen "Update Now" work in that scenario. Not sure why "Update Resources" didn't either time.

Doesn't work for me either. Used top take about 1/2 hour to come through, more recently up to 4 hours and the last one over 7 hours...[:'(]

I should add as part of my scenario that always works that I always have Use Internet and Automatic Updates to YES. That may not be practical for others, but from your experience it must matter.
Like I said this may not be practical or desired for others, but this is (revised) what works for me (I updated just so it's all in one place in case anyone wants to try it):
1. Ensure that Use Internet is Set to Yes and Automatic Updates set to Yes
2. Wait until you have a confirmation email from Logos thanking you for the purchase, it's available, etc.
3. If Logos is running, EXIT.
4. Start or Restart Logos.
5. Type "Update Resources" in command bar
I have the same settings and it always downloads for me, also....
