Problem with "my tags"

I am trying to tag some of my resources. I have the library open as a floating panel... when I enter a tag it refreshes and goes to the top of the list again.... very annoying.

 

1. Is there a way to stop this?

2. Is there a way to tag whole series at once?

1. Not yet

2. Yes. If you select multiple resources, you are given the option to put the same tag on all of them. This is easier if you either filter or sort your resources to get them all together.
