Question on Exporting to file and columns

I have an article that I exported to an RTF document.  When the document displays inside the Export window, it shows in 2 columns; but when it is saved to RTF/Word document, it displays in 1 column.  The export pane only gives columns options of "Auto" (which it is set to) and 1 column.

How would I influence the number of columns that the RTF document contains once the document is exported?

Doh - I found this is trivial to do in Word 2010, I can just select Columns to TWO and it changes it. I assume I cannot do this in Logos, but no big deal (if I am missing anything please let me know).  Word handles this fine!
