This may be a silly question but should my notes be functional? They don't seem to be. I had it in my head that the feature was complete and I had just not tried to use it until today.
I can open the new note and name it but thats all.
Just kidding. I watched the tutorial video and figured it out.
I am assuming that "notes" in the Mac version are still a work in progress.
When you desire to insert a note you still have to scroll through all of your notes to get to the correct entry in the note file once you click "add note". It should go to the correct location in your note file like the Windows version. Also, notes used to be able to added for the "book", "chapter", "verse" or even a particular "word".
Although the Mac version is usable, the notes feature is rather cumbersome and disappointing, at least to me.

This is one of the two reasons I still do most of you Bible Study in L4 Win under Parallels 5. The other is Sentence Diagramming.
I have identified this very same problem regarding the notes function-ability for the Mac and I have yet to receive an answer as to when the Mac version of "notes" will function as the Windows version. I finally purchased NoteBook to keep my notes in. It's a great program and gets the job done for me, but I still miss the convenience of clicking on my notes in Logos and having them come up instead of having to open up another program just to access my individual notes in Logos.
Anyway, do you have any information as to when Logos is going to "get the job done right" for using notes on a Mac? I kept hearing people say "any day now"...."any day now".....but I finally got tired of waiting and just purchased the NoteBook program.
If you or anyone has any update on this I would love to hear back.
Thanks,
Tom
I think I saw a post by one of the developers that indicated that the "notes" feature was still a work in progress but after this length of time I was hoping for more progress. I have no clue as to when to expect parity with the Windows version.
Anyway, do you have any information as to when Logos is going to "get the job done right" for using notes on a Mac?
The Dev Team has steadfastly refused to predict dates, and for good reason. They would only be speculating, and Logos has been burned in the past by predicting delivery dates that they could not meet. Having done some Database programming myself, I can tell you that date-setting is practically impossible and is sure to get you in trouble with those who are waiting for the product.
