Find gives incorrect result

Open NKJV. Using CTRL + F type in "disciple". It brings up Matthew 8:18. The word disciple is not there. The next instance of this word is in 8:21, where it is highlighted. The word is found in 9:10 but is not highlighted. If I go to the next instance of the word and select the icon to return to the previous find, the word is highlighted. Can anyone else verify this please.

I could not verify your results. L4 found all these instances in NKJV and many others. I did not see any false finds. It did not seem to miss any, but I did not read Matthew through Romans to check. [8-|]

This is what I'm getting:

It finds Matt 8:18 because "disciple" is in the pericope heading:

It finds the next few instances in the text, and they are highlighted, e.g.:

It finds 9:10, again because the word "disciple" is in the pericope heading:

Finding the next or previous instance doesn't make any difference.

Are your pericope headings showing? I'm not even sure there's a way to turn them off, but that would be the only explanation I can think of for why you're not seeing the word highlighted when it finds Matt 8:18 and 9:10.

It is there, but in a heading "Demands of Discipleship".

The next instance of this word is in 8:21, where it is highlighted. The word is found in 9:10 but is not highlighted.

Highlighted how? Sometimes this happens when it is selected in the Interlinear panel (light blue). It wasn't (light blue) the first time I found it. Likewise it wasn't (light blue) highlighted in 9:10 until I went backward in the text and then clicked Find. Did you find it at 8:23, 25 and in the heading for 9:10?

If I go to the next instance of the word and select the icon to return to the previous find, the word is highlighted.

I got varying results with highlighting (light blue) for the interlinear panel. But it always highlighted as a Find result (dark blue).
