I purchased Gottwald's Hebrew Bible CD from a bookstore and it had Libronix 3.0f. Later, I purchased, Danker's Multipurpose Tools for Bible Study CD. How do I add the new CD to my current library?
Just put your CD into your player. When You start L3.0f, it should immediately recognise your Danker! (He was my professor back in the 60's! *smile*)
You may need to use Location Manger under Tools in case it doesn't come up. Follow instructions as to copying the infor from your CD onto your hard drive.
Then, again, under "Tools" - synchronise your license the the Logos Servers. Your L3 configurement will then be downloaded for you automatically if and when you ever move over to Logos4.
Also, always a good idea to backup your licenses (under Tools) on your local drive - and also on some removable media.
Finally, it would be a good idea to upgrade your L3.0f to L3.0g, the last available Logos L3 ever!
*smile*
Peace to you in the Lord! And! Always Joy in the Lord!
How do I add the new CD to my current library?
1. Load the CD.
2. It should then run Libronix Update and ask if you want to install the new resource. Clcik Yes.
3. After it is finished, open Libronix.
4. Libronix should ask you for the serial number of the new resource and ask if you want to validate it over the Internet. Enter the number and choose Yes.
5. Once Logos returns a second number to you it should then ask if you want to load the resources from the CD. Select Yes. It will do this and ask if there are other CDs. Select No. Then synchronize your licenses over the Internet. You are done.
If you already activated the resources and want to get them on your computer, load the CD, open Libronix and wait for it to finish Discovering Resources (lower right hand corner of the screen). It will ask if you want to open Location Manager. You do. Once that loads, select the open to move your resources to your hard drive.
Get back if one of these steps doesn't seem to work properly or you can not finish the process.
