Editing notes imported from Logos 3.0

I used Logos 3.0 in seminary and would often copy and paste lecture insights into a note file. But I didn't fully understand the feature, I suppose, because now I have hundreds of notes that are all in a single category that I've entitled "General Notes."

Now that I've watched the first Logos 4 training video on notes, I realize that I should have been using categories. I'm trying to figure out how to copy and paste notes in the "General" category and can't do it.

Is there a way around this? Can I go through my list of notes in the general category and assign new categories? Thanks...

Michael I'm not clear about what you mean about categories and the General category. However if I had a large note file and wanted to subdivide it, I would start a new note file for each set of notes I wanted to keep separate, line one up in a panel next to my large note file and drag the appropriate notes from the large file to the smaller one I was creating.

To further subdivide notes, add a new note in the existing or a new note file, highlight the info in the longer note I want to move, then drag it and drop it into that new note.
