I don't remember Logos doing this in earlier versions. In the middle of typing a note, the screen goes black (I'm typing notes in full screen mode). When the note window returns, I continue with the note. At some point, the focus is lost and what I type is not showing up in the note. I have to regain focus on the note by a left-click, and continue to type to finish the note.
