Logos Bible Software 4.0b (4.10.4.7689)

Logos just downloaded Logos Bible Software 4.0b (4.10.4.7689) to my computer. Is that a beta version of the software?

If so, why is a beta version downloading to my computer? I am not on the beta program (never signed for it) for I prefer a stable version. Am I the only one not on the beta program that had this beta update downloaded?

I do appreciate very much all your input on this forum!

I checked the Mac release notes and this is version number was the Release Candiate. It was released last Monday so there is a good chance that this version has been promoted to stable.

Even if it was a mistake, a Release Candidate should be extremely stable and with none of the Beta channel risks.

No, it's not a beta version. It's the latest stable release.

We use letters of the English alphabet in our version string. For instance, the Windows version of Logos 4 had 4.0a, 4.0b, 4.0c and 4.0d prior to 4.1.
