Non-Logos Libronix books

Gday All,

Logos 3 enabled one to include a wide range of books in one's library from non-Logos sources. Eg. Libronix material distributed by E4.

This material gets included when one upgrades from Logos 3 to 4, but is there some way to add such books directly into Logos 4?

Hello Peter. Welcome to the forum.

As far as I know there is no such possibility. But to do it by installing Libronix and than synchronizing the licenses and downloading to Logos4 works nice and is relatively easy.

P.S. You might be able to get it done by calling the customer support and giving them your license number of the CD.

I would hope that once your L3 license has synced with L4, then all your L3 books would show up even if you did a fresh install of L4 on a new computer. If this is not right, I certainly would want to know, but my impression is that it is correct and Logos keeps all your resources whether Logos product or non-logos on their servers.

Having said that, since in L3 logos has a file of the license, one would wonder why L3 needs to be installed in order to sync L3 non-logos books into L4.

Yes, if you have all your libronix books installed in Logos 3 (also the third-party ones) and have your licenses synced with Logos servers, than as you install Logos 4, you get all of them downloaded to Logos 4. And you have them there ever since. You don't have to repeat the process when you need to re-install Logos 4.

I think I read in some other thread that you can. If you're not based in USA, it might be worth asking if you could do it by email.

And don't forget that Skype is a workable alternative for non USA buyers as well.
